Caplugs PC90-SH Series Blue Polyester Tapes can adhere to a variety of surfaces and are exceptionally suitable in high-temperature applications to mask off areas that do not require coating. These tapes are thinner and as such are suited for use on curved surfaces or profiles. The PC90-SH Series is fabricated from a 1 mil (0.04") thick polyester film that is engineered to withstand temperatures up to 400°F (204° C), making these tapes ideal for elevated temperature masking applications in painting, coating and surface finishing processes. This tape is specially constructed with a 2 mil (0.08") thick silicone adhesive that is designed to be removed without leaving an adhesive residue behind upon removal, ensuring a clean and finished surface. Not only are these tape rolls made from 1 millimeter polyester, they're also made from 2 millimeters of a silicone adhesive. This mixing of materials makes for a strong, visually distinct tape that's ideal for general purpose powder coating applications.
